Afghanistan is #5, in the severity of countries suffering from extreme persecution accordingto the Open Doors World Watch List.  All Christians with an Afghan nationality come from a Muslim background (converts). If it becomes known that someone has converted to Christianity, he or she faces heavy societal and familial pressure. If Christians are discovered, they are subject to discrimination, hostility, and even violence by their family, friends and community. There are no public churches in Afghanistan.

Romans 12:13 AMP
"Contribute to the needs of God’s people [sharing in the necessities of the saints]; pursue the practice of hospitality" .

Luke 8:21 NIV
"And it was reported to Him, "Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, wishing to see You." But He answered and said to them, "My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it" .

1. How would you feel if your entire family disowned you for being a Christian, and associating with other believers?

2. How would you feel if when your entire family disowned you for being a Christian, and other believers did not support you?

ASK GOD: If you have truly considered your brothers and sisters in Christ as your true family, ask God if there is any dissention or division with others in the body of Christ and how you can be a peace maker.

Jesus Said, that whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and mother in Mark 3:35; I desire to not only be a part of the family of God by following your will, but I seek to bring other brothers and sisters to this knowledge. I pray, God, that You will soften the Afghan government to give persecuted Christians freedom to worship and protect them from the Taliban. That every small group of Christians will stand strong in their faith and not return to Islam under pressure no matter how difficult it will be. I ask you, God, that the constant instability and cycle of war over the last 30 years will end! Bring us to strengthen one another in accomplishing  Your will. (Insert any additional) In Jesus Name, Amen.
