What To Expect...
Q: WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
A. The Church's facilities are located at 3101 S. Main, Las Cruces NM. Be careful not to turn on Conway Street! Although it looks like it will take you to MPCC, it actually joins I-10 South. You'll then have to loop back around up I-25 to get back to University Avenue.Click here for a Map
Q: DO YOU HAVE CHILDCARE FOR MY KIDS?
A. Yes! We provide childcare and Bible classes for birth through 5th grade for our Saturday and Sunday services, as well as for most of our weekly church activities. For more information, check out the SonTown Children's Ministry area of the website or you can contact Cindy VanPelt, our Children's Minister at CindyV@getrealchurch.org for more information.
Q: DO YOU HAVE PROGRAMS FOR MY TEENS?
A. Yes! Our current youth program offers Sunday morning and Wednesday evening meetings. Both provide a fun atmosphere where they can hang out with other teens (grades 6-12), worship and learn together. Sunday morning group meets during the 11:30am service and the Wednesday evening service meets at 6:30pm. All youth activities take place in the youth room located in the education building. For more information please contact Mattlemke@gmail.com.
Q: WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC DO YOU SING?
A. Although our services are mostly contemporary in style, we also blend in traditional hymns and even an occasional Hispanic praise chorus. Most of all what we strive for in our music is to lead people into an authentic experience of expressing our love for and appreciation to God. If you are looking for more hymns, check out the 8:15 service. If you are more into alternative rock style worship, SNL or Reel2Real are for you! Click here to listen to samples of what we sing at each service.
Q: WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICE TIMES?
A. We currently have 4 service times on Sunday Morning and one service on Saturday Night.

*SNL (Saturday Night Life): 6:00 pm:
SNL service is our more modern service which offers an awesome time of intimate worship. SNL is geared towards to meet the needs of the college and young adult crowd, as we incorporate more alternative style music, media and a very casual atmosphere. However, everyone is welcome in all of our services! A free dinner is also served following the service, so be sure to stick around for delicious food and an awesome time of fellowship.
Cafe Real is our coffee-house style worship service. Come sit and enjoy the casual atmosphere of Cafe Real as we sit around tables and participate in a great time of acoustic worship and learning while enjoying fresh coffee and donuts.
Our Main Services offer a contemporary style worship service and time of learning in our Main Sanctuary. We also provide a live video feed in our commons area during these two services if you have children that you would like to keep with you or if you are running a bit late. At 10:30, between our9:30 and 11:00 services, enjoy a time of fellowship in our Commons Area while catching up with old or new friends over free coffee, donuts and orange juice.
Reel 2 Real Church is now up and running full force! Reel 2 Real is a video venue church plant with a live worship band and campus pastor on site. We meet every Sunday at 9am at the Cineport 10 movie theater in the Mesilla Valley Mall. Reel 2 Real features Hope International coffee (coffee from a missionary organization that gives 100% of their profits to villages in Hondouras and Ecuador to help educate villagers on how to create a sustainable way of living) & donuts. Childcare is provided from birth - 5th grade.
Q: HOW LONG ARE YOUR SERVICES?
A. All of our services run an average of 55-65 minutes in length.
Q: WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
A. You are free to dress any way you like as long as it is modest and somewhat tasteful. (Shoes, shirts and pants are strongly encouraged). Feel free to pass on the suit and tie... but if thats what you prefer, thats ok! We tend to stick more with the casual side, so pull out your jeans, t-shirt and sneakers... or dress it up a little more in your polo and slacks or that cute new dress you have been eyeing at the store! The pastor normally wears Dockers and a polo in the warmer months. If you see him in a suit, somebody died or is getting married.
Q: WILL I BE ASKED FOR MONEY?
A. Although we do feel that giving is an important part of worship and responsible church membership, you won't hear us asking for money very often. In fact, we ask visitors and guests NOT to give. We just want the opportunity to be a blessing to you.
Q: WILL I BE EMBARRASSED OR SINGLED OUT IN ANY WAY?
A. No. We respect your right to check us out as anonymously as you desire. You won't be asked to identify your self as a visitor. However, if you would like, we have a feedback card and a Welcome Center where you can obtain all the information about the church you wish.
